Summertime stuff....

Well, yesterday afternoon around 3:30 my air conditioner quit working. I turned it off, opened the windows, and suffered! It was about 94* here for a high yesterday and that made it VERY hot in my house. The thermostat said that it was about 85* at 9:00 last night. We left it off and George called a friend of his that does this kind of work. He is going to come and look at it today to see what the problem is. We think it froze up because I turned it on this morning at 8 because it was already 80* in here. It has worked fine all day. Actually, my feet are froze right now! But I am NOT complaining! It is a welcome feeling.

Off to another subject, I was at Wal-Mart today and they had 1 subject notebooks for 5 cents each!!!! Yes, I said 5 cents!!! I was thrilled! It is so funny what makes a homeschooling mom excited. LOL! So I got 20 of them. My husband will think I am crazy but I won't have to buy anymore this year(hopefully). My kids love to doodle and do stickers in notebooks. So this was a great find for me.

Now I will share some summertime pictures with you! Enjoy!

This is Jacob from his Little Buddy Tournament where he won 1st place in his age and overall!

OK this one I could possibly get in BIG trouble for later! It was too cute the other day, Nathan & Amber were playing dress-up and Nate came in the living room dressed like this only he had some of her play high heels on! We don't normally let him do this but I had to take a picture! He was a very cute girl! LOL
People always think he is a girl because of his hair. After the picture I took the dress off QUICKLY and made him play dress-up with the boy stuff! LOL
==============================
These pictures are from Nathan's actual birthday when we played in the water. It was so fun!

Going down the slide.
==============================
COLD water!
==============================
Being brave and sitting down in the water.

These pictures are from the day when George and I got to go fishing early in the morning the other day when my niece kept my kids. This is a picture of the sunrise, BEAUTIFUL!
==============================
This is the 7 pound bass that George caught in the first 15 minutes we were there.
==============================
Big bass again.

And me with one of my little fish that I caught.(I am being brave posting this BAD picture of me!)

Michelle, I have enjoyed these pictures so much! Jacob's fish were huge!!! You need to hide the copies of the pic of Nate to use as leverage when he starts dating! LOL! He is too pretty! Way too pretty! ;0) I love the pics from your fishing trip too. So glad you shared them. What a fun day and what a beautiful sunrise!

Hope all goes well with the air conditioner tonight... :0)

Michelle, what lovely pictures of your family. You are blessed. Yes, Nate would have made a beautiful girl but he is a beautiful boy and I wouldn't worry about his dressing up in girls clothes. I've found out that the least amount of noice you make about children playing with toys of the opposite sex, the less likely they are to continue the practice as they grow older. Peer pressure, you know!

He definately has beautiful hair.

Good job with your catch for the day and the picture of you is cute and not bad. You look happy and proud!!! LOL!!

Love,

Dianne
