Evil strikes again!

It is 1:45 in the morning and why am I up you ask?
Because the vomit has reared it's ugly head once again. I don't understand it though. The last time Amber got sick was Thursday night around 6. She went all night Thurs. night without getting sick, all day Fri. and then gets sick again tonight. She didn't eat much on Fri. but her daddy(the one who got to sleep while I gave her a bath in the middle of the night again because she had it in her hair, I'm not bitter!) gave her water to drink with her cheese crackers right before bed. I think I remember that you aren't supposed to drink water if you have been sick. Am I right on that? Someone please give me an answer that may save my dear husband grief!

So, now Amber is back in bed, in my room, because once again her bed had to be cleaned, in the middle of the night, by me. I AM NOT BITTER!!!! No really, not bitter, just tired of this. And just tired. I think I am a little crabby. Maybe, just a little........

Oh, sweetie! You poor dear.... well, the water thing is debatable..... some say don't other say any liquid to keep from getting more dehydrated..... but I personally say NO!!!

Sorry, but if its a virus it **could** be passed around and around several times.... especially with little ones.... might want to bleach the toys.

Hugs, I have been there and I know its not any fun and it is draining and frustrating..... It will pass. Hopefully soon!!!

Hugs,
Traci

I'm not going to be much help, because I find that water is the only thing (in small sips) that I can keep down when I'm sick.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

I have always giving my dc gingerale with the bubbles stirred out. This makes it flat. They are to sip it. It has always worked for us.

I have never heard the doctors on my reports say don't give water when someone has the stomach virus or any other type of sickness. They always just say to keep the patient hydrated and to eat bland foods. I agree with Traci that it's probably just running around the house again. :0( So sorry.

Will keep praying for you guys!
Love,
April

Oh you poor things...(((hugs)))

Sips of water only for 24 hours to rest the system. No food. After 24 hours only tiny amounts of very plain things and increase the water slowly. Trust me.

Love, Tina :)

Thanks to all you wonderful ladies for the comments. We haven't had any sickness all day. Still not eating quite right, but no hurling! Hopefully the evil thing is over.
Good night!
