I think this may be Monday!
I was way into a post and my computer just logged off the internet. Lost it all! uuuurrrrgggghhh!!!
Now, we rejoin my post.
We were up most of the night with sick children. Amber got sick in her bed around midnight. Had to give her a bath because it was in her hair. Got her settled in my bedroom floor and Jacob woke up sick. In the mix of all this Nathan was crying for me and fully awake! I got Jacob settled on the couch and rocked Nathan in the recliner, he finally went to sleep around 3. And during all this George wasn't feeling well either. He went on to work today. The kids are not spewing today, just have tummy aches. So this woman who needs at LEAST 8 hours of sleep is going on about 5. Not a good mix!!!!!
SO I get an e-mail from my good 'ol sister friend April (go check out her blog, click on her name and it will take you there- it is great!) and I have got to share it. It is scary how many of these things apply to my friendship with April. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, I thought it was great and needed the laugh after last night. THANKS APRIL!!! Everyone needs a friend like this!
Hope you all enjoy!
Are you tired of those sissy 'friendship' poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality?
Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship. You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this one—
Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.
1. When you are sad -- I will jump on the person who made you sad like a spider monkey jacked up on mountain dew.
2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.
4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.
5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.
6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.( This one is my favorite! LOL)
7. When you are sick -- Stay away from me until you are well
Again. I don't want whatever the heck you have.(This one is great too! LOL)
8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy self.
9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask; ‘because you are my friend!’
Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth…

I'm sorry you had a rough night, hopefully you can get about ten hours tonight to try to make up for it!
Thanks for posting the friend thing, I'm glad we can be thankful for our friendship, but also laugh at it!
By the way, while sorting pics last night I found a bunch of old ones of us again, such great memories! We were CRAZY!!! Oh wait, we still are! :0)
Love ya!

I'm sorry your children are all sick, Michelle. I love the friendship quotes though the final sentence is a little gross!! LOL!
You will have to let me see those pictures April.
I agree Terri that the last sentence is a little gross, but it was too funny not to share! LOL
Hi Michelle,
I loved this post!!! Thanks for sharing it.
I don't have any particular posts about having been homeschooled but since you have asked I may write one soon. LOL It would probably help me out some with the teaching part of homeschooling. LOL
I hope you have a much better day tomorrow!!!
Blessings,
Vania
