Sometimes moms need homeschooling too!

I learned to sew buttons on today!!!!

I am so excited. My Amber has a little outfit that is so cute and it was missing a button on the shirt. Well, I finally bought some buttons Saturday and my sweet husband taught me how to sew them on this morning. He learned when he was younger and I never learned. But now I know and I can fix my kids clothes when they pop a button!

So I guess you could say that I had a home school lesson this morning in sewing! Now I feel like I could accomplish anything!!!

So my words of wisdom for today are:
Learn something new today. It will make you feel smarter! ;^)

Wow, you finally learned to sew on buttons - all grown up now!!! LOL! Between that and learning to use the hot glue gun, it's been a busy year for you! Now we need to work together on learning a second language to stave off Alzheimer's - what do you think? That was an amazing statistic Bro. Abe gave the other day, I'm totally serious about learning!

I'm sew happy for you about the buttons!

I think that is one of the reasons I love homeschooling - because *I* learn so much!

Michelle,

Thanks for visiting my site and congratulations are in order if you can now sew on buttons. Good for you. There's nothing you can't accomplish now that you've learned to do that!! Like your friend Aprille says...a second language should be a cinch. You go girl!! :) The whole world is in your hands!!

I'm teasing you of course yet I'm serious. You can do anything that you put your mind to especially if you have good friends to encourage you.

Thanks for commenting on my site. I appreciate your thoughts.

I'll check your other site for a progress report on the weight loss. Just don't give up even if you have a few days where you don't see any progress.

Hugs,

Dianne
