Good monday morning all. I hope you had a good weekend.
I am glad to report that the Bingham house is finally over all sickness!!! YAY
It has been a long road and a lot of medication but everyone is finally better. It was nice to have a full day yesterday of taking no medicine.
So now to my little Amber. We have rented a movie from the library about a girl and her horse. She has watched the movie no less than 10 times. Now she wants a white horse named Stormy!
As a little girl I never had a desire to have a horse. I am wondering if this is just a fleeting thing or when she is turning sweet 16 and still has no horse will she be devestated? She really likes that horse. Her 4th birthday is a month away and I am so afraid that she will ask for a horse. How do I explain that one away? Maybe a really big stuffed one will do for now!
So my words of wisdom for today are:
Sit down with your children and watch a movie today, even if it does make them want a white horse named Stormy! ;^)

So glad all of you are better! Give that sweet princess a 'horse- themed' birthday party, and maybe that will satisfy her!

Emily absolutely loves horses and has forever. I've had to explain to her a number of times that 1. We can't afford a horse, 2. We don't have any place to keep a horse and 3. She's allergic to horses and 4. Daddy is a pastor and we aren't farmers!! LOL!
She has accepted the fact and is happy with stuffed animals, Breyer horses, movies and books about horses.
I told her when she grows up and has her own house she is welcome to buy a horse. :-).
