I am sorry it has taken me a while to update. I have been going non-stop and I am really exhausted.
My mom is doing good. Her surgery went well. The problem was that her colon was literally knotting up. She had a surgery years ago and from that another part of her colon had made a loop around it and she also had a small hernia. She just called me and they have moved her from ICU to a regular room. She is feeling really good and actually wants to eat! The doctor had said yesterday that she would be in the hospital about 5 days and now they are saying she may get to come home Friday! 2 days earlier that expected. She is doing really well.
My hubby left this morning for his state fishing tournament. He won't be home until Saturday night. I miss him terribly already.
Thank you all for your prayers and for thinking of us during this time. It has been tough but God has seen us through. Now maybe we can have some uneventful, boring days! LOL

I'm so glad you sent me the email about the lipstick on the school mirror because it prompted me to click on your blog. I have been crazy busy at work and have not been visiting many blogs unless they comment on mine. I had a subscription to your other blog, and never got this one on my blogroll. Michelle, I'm so glad your Mom is doing ok now. Both my parents have had similar problems, so I know what a worry it can be. I'm sure things will settle down for you all now and you'll get some much-needed rest.
