So I have been thinking about how blessed I am to have all of the help that I have in raising my children. I just want to say THANK YOU to all of my friends and family that help me from day to day. Whether it is encouragement, advice, correcting my children when they won't listen to me, keeping my children, or just picking up something from Wal-Mart for me so I don't have to take all 3 of them in for one thing!
I realize that I can't do this on my own. And today started out as one of those days where everything was going wrong, so after breakfast I got out the Bible and we read a couple of chapters aloud and we prayed and committed our day to God. And let me just say that I can tell you from experience, praying & committing your day to God really does make things go better!
We are almost done with school(and we have a MUCH better attitude today!), I have been able to get all of my dishes done and the children have actually played together today and have been fighting WAY less! I have also done 3 loads of laundry and had time to go to the bathroom alone! LOL(something that is a rare occasion around here!)
So my words of wisdom for today are:
Don't feel like you have to do it all alone. God places people in your life to help you. If you are feeling down because no one is reaching out to help you then ASK FOR HELP!!!! If others don't know your situation they can't help.
And if you see a mom who looks like they haven't had a shower all week or looks like she is about to crack or looks like she may need a few hours alone-don't hesitate to reach out to her and offer help. She will love you forever and you may just be her lifesaver for the day!!!

Ooo, Michelle, you are so right! I don't know what I would do if I didn't get help sometimes to keep me sane! And you have been that help many times. I have found that it is easier for me to start my day off with God if I leave my bible laying out, open, right above my keyboard. So even though I am having to work, I can stop to read, or start and read, or whatever. It just keeps it really available. Thank the Lord that we don't have to do it all alone!
Amen, sister!!! God definitely knew I was going to need help! LOL You are that help more often than not and I thank you a million times over!
